Shauna was a pure blessing when she was born May 23,1986. We had been trying to have a baby for 8 years, and finally my miracle baby was here.
Shauna was a light of sunshine to everyone especially her eyes, which were such a beautiful green. My only child and we spoiled her and she pretty much had everything she could have wanted.
Shauna excelled in basketball and could do a lay up so beautifully, we went to every practice and every game that she had and enjoyed all of it. She has always been my pride and joy. Shauna decided in 9th grade to play golf, again she excelled and lettered in golf for all 4 years. There wasn't a thing that she tried and failed at.
After high school Shauna worked as a state inspector with Shamrock towing and decided that wasn't for her. She wanted to join the Coast gaurd but because of her tatoo they told her no, then she went to the Airforce and also the tat was a no. The Army said yes and she was ready to start a new career.
Unfortunatly in basic she got foot fractures and was unable to go on with the rest of her platoon and that really made her sad,. She was in rehab for 6 months with her foot problem and finally they tested her and she was able to go on . She finished up AIT in Misouri and then was sent to Alaska to start her career,
Her life ended way too soon ..... Shauna passed away on October 15th 2007
